To turn on the Active Desktop interface
- Right-click the desktop, and point to Active Desktop.
- Make sure View as Web Page is selected.
Notes
- If you chose Web style for your desktop, the Active Desktop is already turned on.
- You can also turn the Active Desktop interface on or off by clicking the Start button, pointing to Settings, pointing to Active Desktop, and then clicking View as Web Page.
- You must have the new desktop installed in order to use the Active Desktop. If you are running Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 and did not originally install the new desktop, see Related Topics below.
